Leaves
The light comes through them, and bounces off them. They seem to be still, but they are gathering the light in myriad small sugar mills, and filling the space around them with sweet oxygen. I picked these leaves because they were inviting me to see them as subjects unto themselves, not mere filigree on the sturdy woods.
